The one negative from yesterday

Was the performance of Morty.

An early flurry of activity from the stewards got the fans to sit down and Morty complied. Setting an example I think to the large contingent of kids in his travelling group.

From there he sat for much of the rest of the first half

A quick motivational tweet from me got some activity but then a quiet period.

A burst of singing  and dancing after the 3rd showed his potential

In summary first away game of the season needs to shake of the pre season  rustiness but showed some great touches near the end of the game. Am sure he will come into his own once he gets to full match fitness

But on the subject of standing, quite happy to do it for 90 minutes at away games, but not if people behing me don't want to, and it ruins their enjoyment.

You see them chuck the one guy out? I know they let him back in, but it isn't how I'd want to spend an away day, standing outside a ground.

i was amazed he got back in. Great bunch of fans the Sunderland lot they invited us into their pub after the game for a drink.

Am surprised you could find any of them after the game, I have never seen a ground start emptying at about 60 minutes before!

I think this was about 65 minutes.

They all started streaming out after Redmonds third on 57 minutes. There was a lot of movement on about 40 minutes as well, though that was probably for the half-time stotty or parmo or whatever they call food up there. From the stream I was watching the ground looked pretty full to begin with

Yeah once the stewards had made their point and we all stood back up anyway, it was pretty decent.
