Nantes have announced defender Papy Djilobodji has joinedChelsea on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The fee is believed to be £3m.

We await official confirmation from Chelsea.

Sorry for paste from SSN, but I saw something yesterday that said he was offered to us and two other Premier League sides but we said no, one team citing that he wasnt the right personality or something (which if there is any truth in this was surely us considering the Larrivey thing). Reports say Afobe doesn't want a Premiership move just yet, reports also saying that Gradel sidelined for 6 months, so Bournemouth may have to pay big if they want Grabban. Personally I would rather see it sorted out and Grabben stay, leave Bournemouth to struggle.

If Hooper goes, which I think he will, then a strike force of Mbokani, Grabban and Jerome is a decent mix, but the bare minimum, would still rather see another one in.

Agreed - he's not as good a left winger as Brady nor probably as good a keeper as Ruddy.  Anyway, we've done this one to death elsewhere on here.
