I appreciate the game, in fact, industry, has moved on so far that maybe the old dream of little old Norwich with its nice spectators, board and outlook has no place in the modern game. Or is there still a need for the checks and balances of a club like ours is at the moment.

I look at the Norwich crowd and realise there are many older generation still going but there is a younger group who want the very best no matter the cost, intrinsically or socially. So is it time for the club to join the new world and look for an investor who might be capable of making that happen?

Do you know how much input AN has in transfer targets? I know we don't have a DoF and there will be financial constraints. But is there a committee containing non coaching staff who decide?

Self funding model?  You mean they are deciding on whether they need external investment instead of just tv revenue?

Wonder if we might go back in for Pritchard for the number 10, dont think hes had any game time at spurs.

Only one place that will end but if you are young you may have to make that mistake for yourself. Spending more than you earn only has one outcome.

I'm with you Ricardo. If you believe the notion that investing in a club is primarily through loans, at some point they usually have to be repaid. You can't continually increase your loan debt in the belief, just because it's "soft debt" from the owner, it will get written off at some point in the future.
