Although I sometimes like to halt progress, I would love to see the end of the proverbial photo shoot with the new signing holding a scarf over their head or wearing the new shirt. That would be proper progress. And I know we like to hear them talk and technology allows them to come into our houses, but some of the inane questions that lazy journalists throw at them is ridiculous. Cringe is the word.
Agree in principle morty but Mobokani being here ruins it for me...Hooper imo is a far better finisher.

In theory, yes. But in practise its about the dynamic of the whole team. When we play Cam up front on his own, he is constantly dropping back, mainly because he needs to, but this is also why he doesn't get enough goals. When we play 4-5-1 or 4-1-4-1 the player behind the striker fulfills two roles, he joins the attack when required, or becomes part of the midfield when we don't have the ball. Which gives us great flexibility. I am honestly not sure our team is good enough to play 4-4-2 in the Premiership, and the fact that so few other teams play it, means it is used much less these days ( unless you have better quality players). To play 4-4-2 successfully you have to have a solid defence, and a pacy, dominant midfield.
