I Know its only one result and I know about our rubbish away form, but has Sheffield Wednesday losing last night, just given us a glimmer of making the play-offs again. It looked all over after we lost at Burton on Saturday but now especially as Sheff Wed and Leeds are playing each other on Saturday and if we then beat Ipswich the gap may be just four points and then we have to go Hillsborough the following week. With then games to come against the other 3 teams above us it could be back in our hands. The fly in the oinment  obviously could be Fulham who before tonights game have two games in hand. Although we do have to play them at Carrow Road.

All i am saying is that result last night has just opened the door slightly again lets just hope the Tractor Boys dont shut it it again on Sunday.

I Think we now need a minimum of 9 wins from our last 13

Not going to happen, I'm already preparing for next season in the championship and I don't mind really.

had we of beaten Burton at the weekend it would of been a great result for us, but it doesnt really matter if they drop points if we aren't picking them up ourselves

as i said about the fly Fulham are winning 2-0 at Bristol City and are currently above us.

Although 6th is several points ahead of us there are several reasons to be hopeful.  

3rd to 6th is quite tight meaning it's still possible for any of these teams to drop out; there is still some long way to go and quite often a team will come from no where and take form into the play offs.

Problem is not so much with the teams above because someone will drop back but rather with our ability to take advantage when this happens .

The true test of a manager doesn't come in the good times but in picking up the pieces when it falls apart or in motivating a team at the right time.  Shame to say but our man is probably closer to the officer you'd shoot in the back than the guy you'd follow into machine gun fire.

Not going to happen, I'm already preparing for next season in the championship and I don't mind really.

I consider that Burton defeat to the point at which our season ended. 

Which is actually preferable to getting that feeling after the Ipswich game, although I'm sure if we don't win Ipswich fans will claim that it is them who ended our season. 

It is essential that we beat Ipswich just so their morons can't try and lay claim that they've ended our play-off hopes. 

Even if Sheffield Wednesday or Leeds go on a terrible run of form, its difficult to see us being able to put together a comparably good run of form to steal their spot. Looks like it is actually Fulham who are putting together a late run of form, 4 wins in 5 (including 2 away wins), a game in hand on us, and scoring lots of goals.

Two of those three teams would have to have a worse run of form than us. We also have to go to Leeds and Weds and win. I would be happy to see out the season giving games to Godfrey and Maddison and have a better go next year.
