News from the presser :-

Grant Hanley cup tied as played for Newcastle. No Martin or Naismith, both have niggles. Maddison fit. Farke says the coach driver also available for this fixture.

(Funny that Farke had to comment on Maddison's injury status, after his injury time 'injury', ha).

Right now I would prefer as few changes as possible, keep the side together as they need to keep practising defending as a team, plus lets take the Cup seriously for a change.

I wonder how many changes there will be actually. Martin and Naismith unavailable, which would be two I would have called. Hanley is cup tied. And striker wise its pretty much Jerome, or Jerome.

I would have thought we will see Reed and Marley Watkins, and possibly Franke.

was indeed good enough, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe what we're experiencing here is a strange phenomenon commonly knows as a cup run

Even if we can get knocked out at the next round we can talk about it for years to come.

Maybe even have an open top bus thing?

If we do badly in the league we can now blame it on the epic cup run.

I'm hoping for Leeds away in the next round, for purely selfish reasons (cheap and easy away day).

Doncaster away would be even better but I can't see them getting past Arsenal.
