Great result, a lot of hard work from everyone involved.

Vrancic is quality alongside Tettey.

Maddisons goal speaks for itself.

Even Oliviera put himself about and was a handful. Shame hes still so obviously lacking in confidence at the moment.

Yeah superb result. I swear the 2nd half was the longest half of football I've watched. The ref added on 5 minutes time which was outrageous because there was no reason for it, and then proceeded to play about 8 minutes. What also didn't help, and it's the one criticism I have of us today, is that particularly in the last 15 minutes or so we couldn't get our foot on the ball at all towards the end. Obviously Brentford are going all out to get a point so I don't expect us to have extensive spells of possession, but when we were getting it we were giving it straight back to them. I wanted the lads who were up front to get the ball and run towards the corner flag, but we were making it hard on ourselves because we just couldn't relieve the pressure.

But hey, who cares now :D another superb 1-0 away win where we worked hard, threw ourselves in front of every shot and merited the win. Brentford lacked quality a bit in the final 3rd (their top goalscorer Vibe wasn't playing),but despite everything they were throwing at us we were dealing with it. As Robert says as well they haven't lost at home in months.

As usual in these sort of games the three centre backs stand out as our best performers. All 3 of them great again. A bit of Maddison quality makes the difference again. Off the top of my head that's 4 away games we've won 1-0 with Maddison scoring. It's usually a stunning goal as well. Vrancic was superb, Reed did a decent job filling in at right-back (struggled a bit when Canos first came on but in general was solid),and Oliveira first half looked a lot more bothered.

We did this against Bristol City and then went and lost the next home game. Obviously though after that Bristol game we had Chelsea in the cup which can be used as the reason we didn't do well against Sheffield United. Now we have a full week's break, so let's hope we can start to improve our home form. Oh and not losing Maddison in the meantime would be nice!

Annoyingly my stream is a few minutes behind so I got a notification on my phone saying Maddison had scored well before I saw it. Obviously I was still pleased when the notification came through but I would've preferred to have seen it live as it were. Not that I'm complaining though :D

Fantastic goal though. Probably his best of the season which says it all. Would rather he scored it in the 85th minute than the 5th though, dunno if I can take another 45 minutes of holding onto the 1-0 aha. COYY!

Good win. Hopefully will carry on, even more so, as I've just booked my yearly fix for next Saturday v Middlesborough. not football, but sure would be nice if trains and buses ran on time

It's on a Norwich City Fan Club on Facebook, there's a guy on there who streams every away game. Probably does home games as well I don't know though. I assume there's no problem posting the link on here, if there is and one of the mods take it down then fair I'll message it to you.

Assuming you're on Facebook just join that group and yeah, wait til the next game :D The streams are never great quality but easily watchable.

I have to say, that is probably right up there in my top 5 away days. Perfect trip, easy to get to, all the pubs around the ground are extremely welcoming and friendly and there is a Maccy D's a short walk from the ground! The ground itself is fantastic, so close and intimate, and the terracing is just great, and it totally contributes to the atmosphere, not sure how we sounded on the radio but that is one of the best away atmospheres I have ever experienced. I guess it helps that we played so well, and witnessed another Maddison thunderbastard! Special mention, for me, has to go to the three centre backs, as Brentford gave us a fair battering in the second half, and Zimmerman and Hanley especially were absolute colossusses. It was one of those games though where it is hard to pick out anyone who had a bad game, to a man they all worked their socks off, Oliviera included, who was unlucky not to score, after clipping the post again. The lad Reed filled in pretty well at right wing back, I just love how tenacious he is!

The sooner terracing returns to football, the better!

Was another hard fought away win, and I actually didnt feel that they would score in that second half and that generally we coped well, kept our shape and were very disciplined...............we just need to get tactics at home that will bring points and also entertain too.....over to you DF!

I sat in the seats just above the goal. Best part was seeing Maddison’s shot swerve into the net at the other end, absolutely brilliant.

Massive down side was the lack of legroom - worst that i’ve ever had at any ground. I’ve been to Griffin Park loads of times before, always sat upstairs but seats behind the goal were bloody terrible. Note to self - next time opt to stand with the yobbos downstairs

Those of you that went, how long was Leitner on for and did he do anything ?

He was on for 20 minutes, including the extra time. Couldn't really give an opinion, looked neat and tidy enough, but really at that stage of the game Brentford were battering us a bit, so it was all defending really and I didn't see much of him going forward.

Given how little football Leitner has played in the last 2 years I'm slightly surprised he was chucked on when we had something to protect. Lack of match sharpness etc.

Makes me wonder if they want to get him up to speed as quick as they can incase something does happen with Maddison.
