Definitely. It has been a big thing on twitter, folk sneering at him. I'm pretty sure he would rather not be injured, and be playing every week.

It was a tweak in his groin, not his ankle. So hopefully a minor setback.

Can't say I feel sorry for him. But nor do I take any satisfaction of seeing him injured.

Its not his fault we gave a 3.5 year contract to a near-30 year old injury prone player, so absolutely nothing to criticise him for.

If it ever came out that he might not have the desire to get fully fit and play again then that would be a different story, but we already know that Farke isn't shy to just tell us when a player is being a loser at Colney.... so it clearly isn't the case.

I just can't imagine that he'll ever get fit enough long enough or now good enough to become a frequent starter for us now, I consider it much more likely he could squeeze out another 18 months for Southend or something like Michael Turner.

So I've written him off, we've got a moral obligation (and probably contractual) to do whatever we can to treat his injuries and get him playing again, and that's about it.

I feel sorry for the guy. They are saying it's only a blip. Let's hope he can get fit enough to play a game or two before the end of the season, and perhaps we can somehow get him off the books in the summer. I think that's the best for everyone.
