Marcus Maddison is transfer listed and didn't move during the window, so if it is him with a January transfer arranged should we shift another high earner (Oliviera?) then yes.... at the minute. Just look at what regular football did for Godfrey at Shrewsbury, and what six months at Aberdeen did for Maddison's determination (apparently told he needed to toughen up and work on his stamina if he wanted to play here).

Although Maddison will probably end up at Villa if they can't get Snoddy back?

I suspect 30+ starts for Fortuna over the next year would be better for him than 10 minutes off the bench every other week. Looks like we will be using Pukki in one of the attacking places if Rhodes stays fit and keeps scoring, plus we've got Hernandez, Marshall, and Buendia, so do we even need another wide player? I guess McLean could play wide left if needed.

More pressing perhaps is replacements for Pinto and Klose if they leave? Homegrown players in to replace, now that Husband and Matthews have gone? Possibly a left back if Farke doesn't see Stiepermann being a left back this season?

Still think we need another centre back even if Klose stays to be honest, and two if he leaves, bit thin there after letting Raggatt go.

Suspect after breaking through at Fortuna Cantwell would be better off continuing his development in League One or the Eredivise for a year rather than struggling for starts here?

I'm sure Fortuna hasn't given up hope of getting him on another loan. Our technical director last week mentioned they're still keeping tabs on his situation at Norwich and that Fortuna and Cantwell remained in contact. Would be more than welcomed back by everyone at our club.

One thing though, isn't Todd into the final year of his contract at Norwich?

I believe he is in the last year of his deal, so I imagine if we let him go we'd probably be looking at selling him, unless he signs a new deal beforehand

Doing well to still be playing at any level at 36 years of age really, must have enjoyed his year at Blackpool if he's willing to move back up there for a year or two.

Bit of a surprise that League One appeals to him really.

I think I heard somewhere that he is basically on gardening leave, I assume until they can find somewhere for him to go on loan to.

I’ve no idea. He only played twice so something wasn’t quite right. I may have only seen him once, and it was against Kings Lynn but he looked a bit of a player to me.

Pretty savage move from the club. Clearly wasn't any loan interest and didn't want him around the team at all. Wish him all the best though, hope he can find a League 1/2 side that'll play him regularly.

This takes me back to an alleged senior player revolt, rumoured to be Russ, Wes and Naismith, not long after Farke arrived.
