Qpr agree £8million fee for Fer

lol maybe. I think there is going to be some Fer love dished out in the 10th minute in the form of song. Making a player feel really wanted and loved is never a bad thing, not that it will have any effect on if he stays or goes sadly.
To be fair, Adams quoted after the game how much Fer appreciated the Brazil chant. Imagine he plays well for us as he should at this level. He'd be the 28k crowds main man! Surely better than being just another QPR rotation player. They are in for Holtby apparently now as well. Hopefully this means they have been rebuffed for Fer again.

Just now - "I understand Leroy Fer is undergoing a medical at #QPR this morning ahead of a £7million move from #NCFC. He's set to pen a three-year deal." Simon Peach

Benfica better be quick, he's reported to be having his medical right now at QPR

Disappointing if true. Both the fee and the fact that I'd convinced myself he might stay.

Well this is pretty disappointing if true. Even with Adams denying it, his comment about things changing at the drop of a hat stayed with me.

£7m according to West London sport and £8m according to Sky Sports. Could be £7m with 1m add-ons or just the usual suspects rehashing old rumours.

Oh, well thanks for a pretty crap last season.

Time to move on with players that want to be here

I realise he's likely to go, but QPR? Poor guy will have 2 relgations on his CV. Guess it's all about the money. Shame, as it will do his career more harm in the long run. Hopefully he sees sense and goes somewhere better.

He's hardly Robinson Crusoe there is he. If we got rid of everyone who was poor under Hughton, we'd be left with Ruddy & the Under 21s (which would make a great name for a band, should the big man go into music).

I think he showed plenty of desire in his little appearance on Saturday, and has been nothing but complementary towards NCFC in his time here. I'm not sure how you've deduced that he doesn't want to be here, other than that he may have accepted an offer from a club paying more money in a higher league.

I for one am sad he's going. I think he would dominate this league!

I also now think that when he goes, we'll be short 2 midfielders in the squad. We really need an alternative to Wessi to create the chances.

Softens the blow a little if true. £10m sounds more like it.

And the timing vexes me greatly, just after Adams said he was available for tonight. The Pink Un/WOTB crowd will be having a meltdown about this. Adds to the "Adams is a lackey and the board sells players under him" narrative that seems to be starting up on those forums.

I think if people lose it over that then they need to cool it a bit. As far as we know, there's been a development in the situation. What he said at the time could have just as easily been true. Let's wait and see what happens to this cash before we jump on him. Two new arrivals are supposedly now having medicals, so he's got a plan for replacing Leroy I'm sure.

That old chestnut. I'm sure if ANY of the team were offered a Premier League move they would take it. If there wasn't interest in Fer then I'm sure he'd be happy to stay.

£10m, much more like it.
