Would love to see an away win here, I mean, these are rubbish, we should beat them? Shouldn't we?

Not surprising. They looked really poor here. AN probably needs a couple of decent results sharpish. Got to wonder though if it's coming apart a bit now it's his team and not Grayson's.

Urgh, not great news from the presser. Hernandez out for a hernia op, should be back in a few weeks. Marshall has a stomach bug, Stieperman has a hip problem, Pinto not quite ready.

I dont want to be a victim here, but it really feels like we don't get a lot of luck with injuries sometimes!

So frustrating that Hernandez news, just as we've got a bit of momentum and a run of fixtures we can really pick up points from. Apparently he's been playing through the pain for a couple of games. Marshall also ill, Stiepermann to have a late fitness test.

Assuming Stiepermann's ok, I'd go for:

Krul
Aarons Zimmermann Klose Lewis
Tettey Leitner
Buendia Pukki Stiepermann
Rhodes

Subs: Oxborough, Passlack, Godfrey, Trybull, Vrancic, Cantwell, Srbeny
The injuries have really left us really thin. Apart from the 18 named above McGovern and Oliveira are literally the only other senior players who are fit that we have. Injuries to Hanley, Thompson and Marshall as well mean that we simply have to have Oxborough on the bench, or we won't have 7 homegrown players in the squad. Marshall and Hernandez both out leaves us incredibly short on the wings, and I would rather we kept Pukki up front but with Buendia and Stiepermann pretty much forced to play on the wings, and Leitner looking good in holding midfield, it makes the most sense to move Pukki back and put Rhodes back in.

And everything was looking so rosy a couple of days ago

With all those injuries getting a result looks harder, but we do really need something out of this game, ideally a win obviously. Hopefully we have enough momentum and quality still in the squad to do that!

Pukki could also play wide right, that's an option.... with Leitner at number 10 and Vrancic coming into the deep role. Doubt Farke will want to be moving Leitner after his performance the other day though.

Likely chance for Cantwell off the bench?

Is McLean still out then?

I'd imagine Leitner or Vrancic will play on the right to be honest, don't know if Vrancic is fit enough for the 90 minutes but I'd like to think we can get an hour out of him there, other than that Passlack is an option, he's quite attack minded for a full back so could probably do a decent job further up the flank, and he could help give Aarons some cover on that side being a natural full back

Said it a few times now, whatever you think of Farke you can't claim he hasn't got balls.

The 'safe' option tonight given Hernandez's injury would've been to either move Pukki back into attacking midfield and start Rhodes, or bring Vrancic in and move him/Leitner onto the wing. Very brave choice giving Cantwell his league debut. Fantastic opportunity for him as well, would be delighted to see him take it!

Other than that the same team. Looking forward to this.

Good to see Todd get his chance, hopeful he has a good game, just wondering whether they'll play him wide or move Steipermann out there, the obvious thing to do would surely be to but Steips out there, but for me that was probably the best game he's had for us on Saturday so I'd like to see him stay there

Terrible game, neither side capable of stringing 3 passes together. The only time we have we've scored :D fantastic finish by Pukki by the way.

The stream I have has BBC Radio Berkshire commentary, and unlike Radio Norfolk they don't even try and be impartial. They don't know who any of the Norwich players are, every time a 50/50 foul is given to us they moan about what a shocking game the ref is having, and overexaggerating to the point that you'd think Reading have had 3 or 4 clear chances, when they haven't had 1. We haven't been amazing overall but Reading have been worse.

Come on now boys let's see out the 3 points.

Stipermann is like a new signing, he's alright you know!

He's got a bit of Gary O'Neill about him.... not particularly blessed with talent but a scrapper who gives 100% for the full 90 every game.

Played some good stuff against Boro and got the win. Scrapped it out tonight and got the win. This is what it takes.
