Just an FYI, Sky Sports taking a serious interest in us now, televising 5 games of 12, meaning only 4 of our remaining games will be 3pm Saturday.

I read that we've a pretty good record in tv games recently and extra £ for the home games televised!

Looks like I’m going to have to book a few hours holiday for the QPR match now :(

I know it's great to be on tv regularly as it means your side is probably going pretty well, and fans who don't get to go that often get to see the lads play, but for regular attendees its a pain in the butt

This is why the 3pm blackout does more damage than good IMO fans will always want to go to games and we can't stop games being on TV so why punish fans by having a this pointless rule that make it's more difficult to go to games

Because football is all about what suits TV, not the fans. They are bottom of the consideration league.
If we go up it will be a lot worse next season. Worst one for me is kicking off at 4 on a Sunday afternoon. Lovely time to be at home with your feet up with a glass of wine watching a match, but a rubbish time to actually go to a game.

Well Sky show about 6 or 7 Championship games per week.... next week its 1 on Monday, 2 on Tuesday, 1 on Friday, and 2 on Saturday

If all games were played at 3pm on a Saturday and they showed all the games at the same time somehow, then they'd lose audience figures as the complete football fanatics would have to choose just 1 of the games to watch. Presumably advertising a large part of their business.

Think its £100k a game they pay to the home side and £10k to the away side.... so they want to pay £660k to show 6 games at different times, and to get as many people as possible watching them because TV advertising is paid per 1000 of audience (e.g 50,000 watching a game and the adverts cost half as much as if 100,000 are watching it).

So they want their hardcore footy fanatics to watch three of those games in a week, not just the one on a Saturday.

Also.... who would pay £30+ a month for a Sky Sports package on top of their Sky subscription if all the games are played on one day? I suppose people can easily departmentalise that cost as about a quid a day to watch the footy any day they fancy.... versus paying £30+ a month to watch football one day a week, if they didn't move fixtures for the telly.

Is a major inconvenience for those who don't live in Norwich but try to keep a season ticket though. I'm sure there are plenty of people who work an hour away who leave work at 5.30pm to go to the game, and have to factor in the need to eat something.

Good for exiles who are further afield though, who get to watch the game on the big telly for £7.99 :p

We can now add Wigan to the list, moved to Sunday 12pm, 6 of our remaining 11 now to be shown.

Nice early start for Norwich fans assume the buses will be leaving 6am?

That's the 5000 fans to Wigan, didn't the club say subsidised tickets?

Well as quickly as that was announced, it's mysteriously been taken down...

not so much the moving of the game, more the moving the game, and then un-announcing it only to likely move it again, just make a bloody decision and stick to it

So looks like the Wigan game is confirmed Sunday 12:00pm but with half price tickets and 5,000 allocation

Same old from Sky. It's frustrating but it's one of the prices of our success. Just two 3pm kick offs at CR between now and the end of the season now.

Midday kick off for Wigan away though, so fucking annoying.

Being an exiled fan I am of course delighted that I will get to seethe live matches rather than on ifollow (which has been better this season). BUT, to be honest, I would watch at anytime if work permits... as I think that those who actually attend matches home and away are obviously much more important and I really sympathise with you all, as if I was home based I would be going regularly and would certainly be a very very grumpy old man as I just love a 3 o'clock on a Saturday routine, and miss it like crazy.
