I'm similar, have just settled into a routine, pottering about, only working 6 months a year means I am pretty used to not doing much! Yeah I don't think anything is getting relaxed about lockdown, despite the press acting like kids in a car asking "Are we there yet", it is all a bit silly, it is obvious we need to carry this on a bit longer. Haha no actual idea if the company will be able to pull this off and actually get me flights, but I may as well be on lockdown on the ship, earning money, as sat here!Hi Morty. Not too bad. Tarting about heaving the ride on about, has given me a bloody hernia which has curtailed my activities a bit but other than that am enjoying the peace and quiet. We live out in the sticks and with the reduced traffic it's like it was decades ago.................peaceful. Lockdown I think is here to stay for a while yet, but hopefully it's working................not helped by those who chose to ignore it. Good luck with work in Trumpland!

Plains,trains and automobiles. Without the planes obviouslySo, to recap last few days. Was meant to be driving to Heathrow Tuesday morning for flight to Amsterdam. Cancelled. Flight to Aberdeen yesterday to fly from there to Amsterdam. Cancelled. On 10 hour train ride to London to fly from Heathrow, call from office, train just south of Edinburgh, vessel going down to minimum manning, crewchange cancelled. Go home. Got off the train at Peterborough and got home via Ely.
Just got home now after travelling up and down the entire UK for F-all! We have guys stuck on the vessel, and two guys that made it to Schipol, who might get a flight home tomorrow!

There was a Boots open in Edinburgh train station, so stocked up on supplies there!I'm actually a bit jealous of that trip morty, although assume difficulty getting grub on the way with all the Maccies and Greggs closed
