I guess here's where we really see if our blip was just that, and it is over. Also if Todd can maintain his high standards set on Saturday. No need to make any changes unless there are any injuries, would be nice to see Hernandez involved a bit more though.

Other fixtures

Preston v Watford ( tonight )
Swansea v Forest
QPR v Brentford

I’ve got a feeling that either Watford or Swansea will only get a draw, do our job and we will be in a good place leading into Saturday

Lets hope so! We are also getting into the real business end of the season that sorts the men out from the boys. Where you see who has the squad to sustain the challenge. It looks like we got our injury crisis out of the way early, this could be crucial.

Another really good performance and important 3 points. Have to say I was a bit worried at the beginning of the game where Coventry were pressing us quite well and the pitch was absolutely dreadful, we looked like we were struggling a bit to get to grips with the conditions at that point. But we grew into the game and were well on top by the time we took the lead (inch-perfect pass from Emi and a Pukki finish that was reminiscent of the striker that was so dangerous 2 seasons ago). It could have been 4 or 5 by half-time but the fact we got in with a 2 goal lead was really important as I think it just killed any hope Coventry had, and meant that even though they huffed and puffed a bit more in the 2nd half it never felt like it was panic stations for us.

Buendia, Pukki and Cantwell were just sensational again, particularly Todd who may not have contributed with a goal or assist but just dominated the game from start to finish. He's really looking like a man who believes he's one of the best players in the league at the moment. All 3 of them were electric. Giannoulis keeps getting better and better. A horrible, cold night in grim conditions on a terrible pitch against a physical team and yet he not only stood up to the challenge really well but was one of the best players on the pitch. Only thing I would've liked to have seen is Farke make his subs earlier. I think Idah could've been on for Pukki a lot earlier, which would have given him more of a rest and Idah an opportunity against a pretty poor defence. Skipp and McLean were also very good.

Brentford losing was also a very nice bonus! 3 of the bottom 4 up next, and with the way we're playing we've got a brilliant chance to kick on and take a lot of points before a big game against Brentford at the start of March.

I thought Swansea would slip up, Forest did hit the woodwork twice but they’ve still got to catch us. Brentford losing is a real bonus for us. Had a quick look on a Coventry forum, they tend to agree that we were better than them pretty much all over the pitch, they really rated Cantwell
