New owners didn't look as though they knew what was going on. Quite funny to see all the fat, pallid, wannabe Saudis wearing the non Saudi finery.

The same Sunderland that continued to play Adam Johnson when they knew full well he was guilty of a sex offence?
It’s Middlesbrough Morty although I get your point, a number of clubs have dodgy owners or dare I say, sponsors.

In March 2015, Johnson was arrested and charged over sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl, with England's age of consent being 16. Johnson continued to play for Sunderland during his bail. The following February, he pleaded guilty to two charges against him, the other being one of child grooming,[4] and was subsequently sacked by Sunderland. In March 2016, Johnson was found guilty of sexual activity with a child and sentenced to six years in prison.[3] He was released in 2019 after serving half his sentence.[5]

To be honest, I find anyone preaching about the alleged morality of football, a bit ridiculous. It is a ruthless business, driven by money and greed, from Sky, to the corrupt FIFA, to young men with too much money and no sense of right and wrong, to arsehole fans.

As I have said, those pearl clutching over Saudis, will quite happily watch the World Cup in Qatar.

Honestly, spare me the selective moral lectures.

Not the same Middlesbrough that the picture was actually taken at, though. The 'Boro' banners were a bit of a giveaway :p

Magpies owners £260b makes Delia's personal wealth of £30m look like a spit in the wind. City's total assets are £85m ..... ho hum.

It is a spit in the wind we know that, but then again Delia doesn't go around knocking off journalists in our embassies either, allegedly. Nor do we feel inclined to go around wearing tea cloths on our heads like the NE dipsticks are doing at the moment.

He's gone then, 'mutual consent'.
They're away to Palace at the weekend, can't see an away win there at the moment.
