I don't buy the whole puppet manager thing certain morons on ~the other site~ are coming out with, but I am finding the level of support that Adams is getting from the board to be somewhat strange.
You would think that the fact they really stuck their neck out by appointing him in the first place, when there were many more experienced options available, would mean that they would be giving him the utmost financial backing to make the most of the best chance we have to get promoted at the first time of asking.
Yet here we are, making a huge transfer profit, then signing O'Neil, Cuellar, and Jerome, players who might well turn out to be decent, but I would find extremely hard to believe were our first choice targets.
