I think a lot of people doubted the appointment (the permanent one) but seems to be paying dividends and I certainly wouldn't swap him for Lennon now.

My choice was Malky Mackay, and I really didn't understand why the board didn't go for him - the board have been vindicated in that decision too. 

Adams is showing himself to be popular with the players, we are playing positive progressive football (and pressing high), he has got players like Hoolahan back on side, we have a striker who is actually scoring goals, we've had several quality players commit to the club, the atmosphere at home to Watford was apparently much improved. we've just beat the scum, and we've got a striker who can score goals.... 

The feel good factor is coming back

Absolutely. It's nice to have a man in charge who has so much passion for the club. He apologised to Mick for not shaking his hand and McCarthy gave some kind of condescending response, not sure Adams will care though, three wins on the bounce and everyone looks to be enjoying their football.

Personally, I wasn't totally convinced but was willing to give him a go. After the performance at Wolves I had major doubts that he was the right man for the job but, as everyone knows, you can't judge anything on just one game. So far the signs are good. We're playing entertaining football and are still fairly solid at the back. A couple of signings (this Belgian Fer replacement perhaps?) and I'd say we've a decent shout of going back up at the first time of asking.

Mick is a dour-faced twunt. But as long as he has the Binners playing 18th Century football then he's fine by me. In all seriousness, he's done pretty well seeing as their arms-dealing owner has completely asset-stripped them.

Good of you to start a thread on this Wiz, as I think we were all uncertain how this appointment would turn out, but so far, so good. We wanted a good start and we've got one. A win over Bournemouth at home and we'll be flying. Full credit to Adams, Holt, and Martin who have also a lot to do with the improvements shown by BJ and Tettey and the team overall. Long may it continue!

Wasn't sold on the appointment by any means, but was willing to give him a chance before making any concrete judgement. If you're going to take a chance on a manager at least make it one who loves the club, and Adams certainly does that. He's set us up right, we look prepared and hungry which is great. We've played passing attacking football which is the Norwich way and obviously three wins on the bounce is fantastic. Long may it continue, not willing to anoint Adams as the finest manager we've had yet, but he is definitely on his way and if we continue playing with the passion and hunger we've shown, there won't be many teams in this league who can go toe to toe with us.

If it's any comfort Wiz, I think all of us have been wrong about things in the past. God knows I was about Chris Hughton. I'll honestly say that Adams was the candidate I wanted to get it, just on a gut instinct that he'd grow into it very quickly after doing an awesome job with our youth squad. Was reluctant to be too vocal in support though having made a bit of a wally out of myself backing Hughton for so long. 

Great to see the belief back throughout. I really think Adams is the real deal: Good man management, tactical flexibility, great communicator (love the way he'll really dissect a game afterwards and go into his tactical thinking with the fans, almost like he's doing his own Radio Norfolk analysis of the game!).

I think he has the potential to take us a long way, and I also think that, should he do that, the fact that he's had such a strong relationship with the club for so long, might just keep him with us should other teams higher up the food chain start sniffing about. That's the single biggest benefit of having one of your own in charge IMO.

I get this is a new forum, a new start and all that, but carrying on the same knee-jerk and OTT behaviour will lead to a similar response.  Maybe learning from this and adopting a more reasoned approach means we can all stay friends and focus on supporting the same team?

Spot on. Don't take up extreme positions and there will be no need to apologise when you're proven wrong.  A lesson for us all and one that was never learnt of the other site.

Lost possession for one goal, failed to mark his man for another and was substituted in the 68th minute. Not a great debut then. Not being spiteful, as I really liked Leroy. Also sad for QPR (0 goals for, 5 against). So sad.

I thought they made the wrong decission when they appointed Adams, but he's made a great start.

I think the thing that has impressed me most is not just the turn around in playing style and results. The fact that were doing all our business in the transfer market early in the window, to me means things are planned and calculated. I know this isn't only Adams, and that the whole team will be responsible for this approach. But I'm glad we're not seeing panic activity line the now infamous Bechio transfer.

The club has a plan, and they're executing on it. Hopefully the club as a whole has learnt from previous mistakes.

Would echo a lot of the above feelings....had my reservations about NA. Was worried it was Gunny all over again.

Perhaps I should also apologise for having black thoughts towards McNasty over the appointment. Proving us wrong again and backing that up with some astute transfer dealings. 4-5mill for each of Bassong and Becchio and he'd become the new messiah  .

Just a word of caution, the season has barely begun! Not doubting Neil by any means, always been 100% behind him, but we're so early in it's impossible to form an opinion of him, we've not even got our squad sorted for the season yet! 

..Although the fact that he forgot to shake hands with McCarthy does put him in the book of legends already for me, i just love how he got caught up in the glee of winning there, he remained relatively calm i thought on the exterior, but his mind must have been sky high to just walk away celebrating lol!
