David Wagner joins us. First section on Onel Hernandez’ new contract. ‘I’m over the moon. This was one of our targets in the last weeks to make sure he stayed at the club. “Since we came into the building he has been a wide player who has produced numbers. Interesting that Wagner highlights the ‘improvement’ that could come from Hernandez’ game. He is 30 now. Wagner has got a real tune out of him since arriving at #NCFC. ‘It will be a very big off season for him because he wasn’t used as much in recent years as in recent weeks’.

#NCFC are ‘in conversations’ with Kieran Dowell, Wagner confirms. Sam Byram is also being monitored after a long spell out. The priority is on getting them back fit before a final decision is made.

Wagner adds that Christoph Buhler has spent a lot of time working with Onel Hernandez in the video analysis room and the training pitch. ‘It’s an important signing but it won’t be the last one’.

‘Wherever we are next season - we have to revamp and refresh the squad. This is clear and obvious after the recent seasons. There is a lot going on behind the scenes. We will get the faces in that we want to have and that will push us forward.’ So there you go.

Dimi Giannoulis will be out for tomorrow. He is following the concussion protocol. He should be back in training by the end of next week but they are bound by the protocols.

Tim Krul was out with a dislocated finger before the Middlesbrough game but was back after a day. ‘He’s a big strong Dutch guy.’

DW on Swansea City: “They are in good form, but this doesn’t count at KO tomorrow. We were in good form then lost to Sunderland. We are prepared and know what they are doing.”

DW: "I was very happy with Isaac's performance, and that he could carry on for 80 minutes. He felt very fatigued afterwards which is normal after five months out."

Wagner on Russ: ‘I respect his career here. I know that he was a legend here and played here for a long time. He is doing his first steps as a manager and doing very well. It’s something special for him to come back to.

‘I understand their frustrations. The home record hasn’t been good enough. We don’t need to hesitate about this. Frustration? Yes. But park it for tomorrow. It’s a chance and an opportunity.’ Good to hear Wagner talking like this, I think.

DW on top six hopes: “One win can change everything immediately. We have to fight.”

With that. We’re done. Good stuff from Wagner. Nice to finally begin to hear some messaging about what is coming next - that is clearly change.

Was this a real interview or just the usual "tell the fans as little as possible" Carrow Road press office release? If it was really an interview, might it not have been an idea to ask one or two penetrating questions? For instance, playing out from the back has not been a stunning success, why haven't you changed it? Did Isaac Hayden have a full medical before he came on loan? Referring to future recruitment, who is actually making the decions on who they want in? The Coaching staff or someone at Board level? The reference to "we" when David Wagner is nominally the manager worries me on past performance. The quote "we have to fight" comes about 3 months too late.

The worst home performance of the season by a country mile. Inferior in every way to a Swansea side who made us look really bad, which we are.

Ratings ..... 0/10 for all of them.

After today's performance I don't want to hear from Webber or Wagner or anyone. The mess they've got our club into particularly Webber, is unbelievable and heads should roll.

Number 9 - if you actually believe that, you must be one of those who would stand and applaud a set of NCFC shirts hanging out to dry on a washing line.Come to think of it, that is not a bad description of our so-called defence.

Another impressive display by the Canaries, and a really impressive webber backing statement by mr wagner, surely he should have kept his trap shut, instead of geeing up the fans

Jesus Christ.
Has Delia enlisted Him to sort out the current shambles? She apparently has a hotline to the Almighty, so I think that to avoid any misunderstandings, that we should all be told.
