I have never been to Luton. Looks shit.
I had a season ticket at Watford for a few years in the late 70s/early 80s. We went to Luton the day after Boxing Day 1982. Lots of us were kept waiting until halftime to get in, Luton won 1-0 and a load of Luton fans came ran in the pitch at fulltime, came to the away end and started picking up rubble that was lying behind the goal and throwing it at the away fans. It was shit and still is shit.

Some good play from time to time but yet again like matches past we feel lacking in the final third. Just feels that last touch needed to get it into the net isn't there.. That's the problem when you don't have a natural striker on the pitch I suppose

Not the worst half, we're not losing! Its amusing me that they must have the microphone right above the dugout, all you can hear is their manager yelling!

I have to say that Luton do not have the look of a team that was recently Premier league.

Why has the Pink Un forum died? After surviving the 502 Bad Gateway period I thought it would be immortal (immorty...)
Word on the street they are going to get it sorted once everybody is back after the holidays. Quite a few have been saying that they aren't happy about how the non football was just shut down, you really get the impression the days could be numbered for the main forum too...

I'm happy enough with that half. We look the better (classier) team but I get nervous whenever they get a corner! Slimane had been doing well but we look a bit more dangerous with Crnac on.
We do look the more composed team but lack something in that final third and are always a slip away from conceding something. Stacey was almost the culprit in that first half :(

Overall [I know this is for a thread on its own really] I am happy with the first half-season under JHT. You can see where he is trying to take us and has now had enough time to assess the meagre options he has to deliver it this season. January transfers will be vital to a successful 25-26.

Really light upfront. Otherwise two teams mid table ish on quality.

A mobile striker, ie Sargent, really makes a huge difference to how we look.

Creates time and space for our midfield, and also helps our defensive structure. Huge player for us, and the biggest loss. I bang this drum often on Pink Un

My comment was about today, only - I am well aware of his previous contribution

Mediocre performance so far, some good play, but really poor at times too. Playing out from back still abject at times.

Got away with a pen there. Ref stuck to his guns. Started outside and the bloke dragged himself over the line to fall down.

Ooh and a bar rattle too. Let them come onto us a touch too long for that shot to be made.
