So the transfer deadline has closed, and barring any late registrations and ignoring the forthcoming loan window (and our ability to sign free agents) it looks like our transfer ins and outs for this summer have finished like this:

We've signed more than we've sold in this window!

For me, I'm very happy with what we've brought in and think we've done decent business on the outgoing front too. Just a bit gutted that we are stuck with Bassong who is probably on a good £30k to £40k a week, he will be leeching off of the club until January at least.

Suspect that Mark Bunn will be offski on emergency loan when a club decides they need a keeper.

A good mix of youth and inexperience incoming, could argue that we needed the experience more than we needed the youth, but it does show that the club still has one eye on the long term health of the club and not just the immediate return to the Premier League.

A good 8/10 for me. I hope that the arrival of three center backs signals a return to right back for Russell Martin.

Absolutely delighted to keep Tettey, at least until January. Despite my reservations about Hoops and Redders I'm really pleased that we've held on to them.

We've got a really strong squad and, from the non-stop twitter-bantz over the last couple of days, a great team spirit. It was all about keeping key players & plugging a few gaps & think we've done a great job. 9/10 for me.

Extremely happy with the business, and especially delighted we managed to resist an alleged 9m bid for Redmond.

Really, looking at it, no one can have cause for complaint, or doubt our commitment to seeking promotion.

We have a very, very good Championship squad there.

Over the moon with our business this summer. Expected to lose the likes of Hooper, Redmond, Ruddy, Olsson and Tettey as well, so delighted they've stayed. And we've also bought in some very good players so far, at very reasonable prices as well. The only real niggle is that we didn't manage to get rid of Bassong, but all in all, very pleased.

Couldn't have gone much better this window. I'd have liked to see Fer stay but £10m deal is class and with Johnno looking like Pirlo at this level and an established Belgian international replacing him, i'm delighted.

What would be great as well would be if Bassong could sort himself out and get back to near his best for us. I honestly think our team looks better on paper now than it did at the end of last season.

2 clever signings with Jerome and Lafferty to bulk up the attacking options and they already look class.

O'Neil and Hooiveld are more proven winners at this level and still have a lot to offer, Cuellar will add much needed experience and organisation to our set up too.

3 exciting new young signings, 1 Spain Under 21 with unmatched pedigree, 1 a potential Wales international and one a shoe in for Scotland.

All the big fees floated around by Cardiff and Fulham for strikers and we have the best buy in Grabban for just £3m. I reckon he's worth more than double that already.

Add the sprinkling of youth that look more than up to it at this level.

Keeping Redmond, Hooper, Tettey and Olsson was very impressive but keeping Ruddy was probably the most important business for me.

I really couldn't be happier, more so with who we kept than who we signed.

Keeping hold of Tettey, Ruddy, Redmond, Hooper, Olsson is superb, and shows a real intent by the team to get straight back into the Premier League. Good to hear that Hooper had nothing but good things to say about the club when Jos asked him about the move.

I love that we have addressed the need at the back, we brought in experience with youth and should now be solid going forward. We took on some very promising youngsters and that's vital for any long term development plan and it finally looks as though the team has that.

Not to mention we've convinced someone to turn their back on Europa League football for the Championship (Vadis) and our £3 million striker has 5 goals in 5 games. 

We got a great fee for Snodgrass and it seems as though Fer didn't want to be here, so to get £10 million for him is a great bit of business. Not upset in the slightest to lose Pilks, he couldn't stay healthy and I never rated him like some Norwich fans, Surman needed to leave because he was never going to get a game with who we signed.

This is by far, one of my favourite transfer windows in recent memory. Let us know that the players prove us right going forward. My confidence not only in the team but the management of the club is at an all time high.

Yep. True to their word that they didn't 'need' to sell. It appears the only players they sold were players that wanted to go. Looking at our net-spend (which is hard with so many undisclosed) it looks to me that we've spent nothing - or maybe even made a little - despite getting rid of some high earners, and arguably not degrading the squad. Keeping the players you mentioned was key to this.

It was great to read about Hooiveld getting a glowing reference from Hooper about the club. That could just be media speak, but if not, this points to Hooper really wanting to be here and up for the fight despite the disappointments of last season.

I feel very positive about NCFC right at this moment.

agreed, when you estimate that Lafferty was probably around the £3m mark, Jerome around £2m, etc etc, the total spend is equal to, if not a little lower, than the monies coming in.

With a decrease in wages on top of that, and (IMO) no real weakening of the squad, I am delighted.

The next league game simply can't come quick enough, damn international breaks!!!!!

Absolutely terrific window. As has been mentioned elsewhere, not being able to offload Bassong is the only cloud in an otherwise bright blue sky. Does anyone know if the loan window allows him to move abroad? And does it exclude top-flight clubs? I'm just thinking that obviously he couldn't go on loan to an English Prem side now, but could a Ligue 1 side still take him on loan? And what about a permanent move to somewhere outside of Europe, such as the Middle East?

Like the rest of you, absolutely thrilled with this transfer window and i am glad the transfer window is now firmly shut. To keep all our best remaining players is a statement of intent that the board are fully focused on getting this club back in the prem.

Looks as though we have got two starters for each position ( except perhaps for GK) and not just cover.

This will test Neeyul not only to find the best starting combination but also in managing those not starting. Really good problem for him to have but it will also be a challenge.

There does seem to be a lot of satisfaction with the business done, but I think we were of a similar view after the window closed last year, so perhaps a bit of caution is in order. But if it turns out as good on the pitch as it looks on paper then we should see plenty of smiles around.

Very happy with the transfer window.

If I had to pick one grumble, it would be the sale of Pilks. Not the fact we sold him, but that we sold him to a promotion rival. Other than that, very happy indeed!

Southampton never bid for Redmond in the end - would have been interesting to see if Norwich turned down £9m though.

Overall some very good business by Norwich, and also managed to avoid the trap many clubs looking for promotion fall into; buying too many players who are good in the Championship but unable to make the step-up should promotion happen. With older players either on loan or one year deals Norwich can bring in younger players in the future and others like Jerome can just about hold their own.

Interesting to see how Adams manages the squad, a lot of players who would be expecting regular games will be on the bench (or not even that) and Adams has already shown he isn't a man for a great deal of rotation. Balancing Jerome, Grabban, Hooper and Lafferty will be key in my opinion.
