If he scores 10+ for Rotherham do we take him back and play him in January?

IMO he's a traditional CF who simply didn't fit Hughton's tactics and doesn't fit Adams' tactics, being too slow. It's not his fault, really, but he should do well at Rotherham and he's certainly valued there.

Depends how our strikers are doing. But the fact that he's been loaned out clearly shows that he's not part of Adams plans and just from what I've seen of Becchio he doesn't look like he's the type of player that would fit the system we currently play.

WE took 4 players from Leeds, Johnson,Howson, Snodgrass and Bechio.

All with the exception of Bechio were given a chance and proved ,at times both good and bad for the team.

Bechio was never given that chance.

CH had a bad effect on all our strikers and Bechio worst of all.

Even pros need to feel wanted, appreciated and part of the team.

I don't believe he ever was.

Good luck to him and I hope he proves himself while on loan.

Sorry but I don't buy into this. He had every day in training to impress both managers. Any pro knows that the only way you will get back in the team is getting your head down and training hard. I watched Becchio twice in cup competitions, another chance to impress, and he couldn't have looked less interested.

If he didn't want to be here I'm sure he had plenty of opportunity to get away long before now.

If NA thinks he is that hopeless he will allow him to play against us on 04 October.

I would welcome him playing for opposition and see exactly what he can do for 90 minutes.

I like most of you could not work out the Becchio situation under CH, was there a personality clash, did CH not really want him here in the first place, who knows? The fact that he has not taken the opportunity to impress NA on a return to the Championship, where he had been so sucessful prior to joining us, suggests to me a much bigger problem with him. This was his great chance and he has not taken it. The only conclusion I can draw is that it must be an attitude problem. I really hope he does well on loan and we can offload him.

I think it's a term of any loan move that the player can't play against the club he's contracted to.
