It is quite scary that this vote is just 2 days away, and that in 3 days time the results will come in which determine whether the Union Jack has become redundant.
I suspect that if I were Scottish I'd be voting to leave the union, but as an Englishman of a particular political persuasion I'm hoping that they vote to stay in the union, we'll be stuck with the Tories for decades without the seats that Labour win up there.
The bookies seem to think that they will vote to stay in the union though, with Paddy Power offering 1/4 on the No vote and 3/1 on the Yes vote. The polls seem to suggest that it is much more difficult to call than that though, they average out at something like 51/49.
Would this be our flag?
Bloody boring!
Can't we re-colonise New Zealand to get some blue in it, throw a few stars in to bling it up a little?
