7 games in 22 days, how many points?

I don't know about everyone else but I'm relieved that the International break is almost over.

Now for the real stuff and 7 games in 22 days. OK, one is the Capital One Cup, but, six league games and 18 points up for grabs, how many do you think we'll get?

Here's my predictions:-

Cardiff (A) draw

Brentford (A) win

Birmingham (H) win

Blackpool (A) win

Charlton (H) draw

Rotherham (A) draw

12 points from 18. Or, more importantly, 22 points from 33.

Cardiff will be a test and would not be surprised if we did come away with nothing. The others look reasonable predictions but you just do not know as many factors can come into play, injuries, loss of form...etc. I'm taking each game as it comes TBH and taking nothing for granted. Not opposed to threads speculating the future but I personally just like to not get ahead of myself.

To be honest I'm struggling with this. I want to say that we're going to win all 6 of them, they're certainly all winnable, but that would be unrealistic. We're up against some really poor teams here but I'm still not convinced about our away form and with 4 of the next 6 away from home there is potential for a few banana skins. Cardiff will be a good test, I think they're overrated as is OGS, and I will be really disappointed if we come away with nothing. So here goes:

I'm just desperate for the football to start, today has been the slowest day on NorwichTalk.com, yesterday was very slow too, there just hasn't been anything to talk about. Popped into the Pink'un this morning and it looked like there weren't much going on in there either. I'm just excited at the prospect of 7 match threads  :lol:

Rotherham is at home by the way Gazza, had been a bit worried there as that's within 15 miles of my house - is one I'm going to be desperate to get tickets for. Rotherham away is our last away game of the season.

13 points from 18, I predicted 1-1 for Cardiff in the score predictions thread, but I'm interested to see if a defeat could breathe some life into this place *ducks*, and out of the 7 games it is honestly the only one I can see us losing (barring any early red cards).

No sorry you're right. The OP says away so I assumed it was. Rotherham away is actually April 25th.

Fewer than 10 points I'd be disappointed but 12 or more would be a really great return. Anticipating a few twists and turns with unexpected results amongst these next few games.

First, an apology for my error, Rotherham is, of course, at home.

Mustard, I think fans are predicting a draw at home simply because we're expecting a blip or two along the way. We could easily lose at Cardiff and win the rest, however, football rarely works out as you predict. That said, we're all secretly hoping you're right and we're wrong! ;-)

Think we can win all six matches, starting of course with Cardiff.  Win that and the confidence gained will carry us forward into the following five matches with every match winnable.

Would be great to beat Cardiff, but I can't see it, I'm afraid. A draw is possible.

For the other five, we ought to win at least three, and draw one.

So I'm going for 3 wins and two draws in the six games, or 11 out of 18, and almost two a match. This would be slightly worse than hitherto, because I feel that in our opening games we had a little luck, in an early sending off, and penalty given and penalties refused. Fickle fate, or referees, will have a say.

All winnable. I doubt we will win all so I'll say 14 points. I don't think we'll lose any so 2 draws and 4 wins for me. Plus a win in the cup.

I feel we might end up with a Wolves-esque disappointment on Saturday – long way to travel, partisan crowd, international break at the wrong time. First goal will be vital, and if we concede it I can't see us getting anything. After that, however, I'm not interested in talk of unpredictable twists and turns; we've got the strongest squad in the division, and we should get 13 points from the following five games. I'll go for a narrow defeat at Cardiff, then five wins on the bounce.
