That presupposes that there are head scouts around with an address book to die for who want to come and help Norwich. 

There are better connected and more influential scouts than Lee Desborough just as there are better more clinical strikers than Cameron  Jerome.

As things now stand these people do not want to work for Norwich. One day perhaps but now we must make the most of what we have on and off the field.

At the end of the day I think we probably all know the situation regarding the geographical position of our club being an issue, it has been for years. Bournemouth I believe to be a much more attractive option as its easy for London,  as is Watford.  

As pointed out by other's too the money and our unknown manager will also add to the challenge.

That said, we want players who really want to come to the club,  so maybe we will get a couple of quality players in who want to do just that!

Norwich is probably the place that sensible family men want to settle. Your rude-boys like Raheem Sterling are probably not going to appreciate what a place like Norwich has to offer. This means we're probably shopping within a limited pool of players with a type of mentality. Players who want to live life in the fast lane are probably not going to want to come to Norwich. I thought Radio Norfolk were pretty accurate on this pregame today. They made the point that we aren't looking to sign players to come in and spend half a season on the bench before maybe offering something, we are looking to sign quality players that are significantly better than what we currently have that will walk into the first team. The first type of player would come to us in all but a few cases but we are now trying to fish in a pool of players with far more options, we are competing with clubs that can offer more money, 'better' locations (London etc) and almost certainty that they won't be relegated in a year. For these reasons it will take time but hopefully, when we do find that player that understands what Norwich offer they will be fully committed - our new Huckerby.
