I have to say I am loving life back in the championship. We are competing well the team are playing better football and the atmosphere is returning to the Carra.

The prem apart from the money is not all it is cracked up to be for a team our size!

It's not sour grapes from our relegation, but I have always been worried about the Premiership. It often happens that teams are selected without a single player qualified to play for the home nations.

The reason is the vast sums that big spending clubs can collect year after year. The wages are too high, and not enough money is spread down to the lower divisions where occasionally despite their resource limitation real nuggets are found.

I have a strong suspicion that our international team suffers because of all the expensive  foreign players brought in by the clubs.Some of our home-grown players may also suffer because they have been "stockpiled" by their clubs, but do not play regularly.

So I shall have mixed feelings about promotion, if we achieve it. Part of me will rejoice that we are one of the three best teams from the "rest", but the other half will ask, "Is it worth it" to have an uphill struggle against teams which cost even ten times what our team cost to assemble, and who dominate referees, pundits and all discussion? I felt this even before the Premiership, when we used to sing "We hate Nottingham Forest, we hate Liverpool too..."

I loved the first year of our recent time in the Prem. It was great to see us give it a go against the likes of Chelsea, Man City etc and even though we lost most of the games against the big clubs we certainly gave them something to think about. The next year I was happy to consolidate but last year it became all about staying in the Prem, nothing else. The football was dire, the away games became embarrassing and the novelty of seeing the big stars play at big stadiums had well and truly worn off. We were simply cannon fodder for the top teams. There to make up the numbers.

I'm loving the Champs. The joy of football is beginning to return and I honestly believe that we can beat any team in this division. We'll inevitably have some lows but the thought of us genuinely competing for the title is exciting.

If we get promoted I hope that we will set out to compete first & foremost and not be afraid of losing. We just have to accept that we are a top champs/lower Prem side and should not compromise our style of football just so that we can stay in the Prem to be regularly humiliated.

I truly have very mixed feelings about this.

Yes, the first season was fantastic, the second and third were generally poor. However, I genuinely enjoyed the challenge of picking out wits against the best teams and best players week in, week out.

I also want to be back there as soon as possible. Why? Because, actually, the reasons are simply. Whilst the Top 7 can usually be predicted each season, and there are usually a couple of teams having a good season, the rest, from tenth downwards is much of a muchness with most of those teams "in trouble" for most of the season. I see no reason why there's anything to fear here.

I think many currently have their judgements clouded by the past two seasons. A manager who made many poor judgements, players who were far too inconsistent, a board that kept faith too long. But, that's history now.

There's no need to justify our current position in the Championship. We were relegated because we weren't good enough over 38 games. We shouldn't be happy with our lot, we are capable of so much better.

Time to regroup, have a successful season and go and have another go at the so called big boys

I think we can all enjoy one season in this league, if it ends in promotion. We will soon get tired of it if we are still in it this time next year. 

As an exile the lack of streams is a major headache, and the fixture list hasn't been too friendly to a Northerner like me. Most of the Northern away fixtures are towards the end of the season, so I'll enjoy this season if it is a successful campaign but do look forward to being able to watch every game again (in the Premier League).

Yes I'm enjoying the attacking football and the good results, but as another exile now I miss being able to see my team on streams every week. Very impressed by the new management team and the squad they have assembled in spite of relegation. OTBC!

Its nice to see us winning, its bad we are not in the prem ( money wise, big teams, ect )

All in all i think its a good thing we went down.

1. Build up a good team.

2. Crowds behind team.

3. Chance to go up as champs.

4. More games.

It is great to go into every game knowing we have a great chance of winning.

However as others have said it is a novelty and after just one season and another 

3 teams relegated with parachute money it may not be so enjoyable.

I would hope that we can get promotion, get used to winning and take the confidence 

into the premier league and give it a real go.

Goals, wins  and attacking football always good,   but I do want to play against the best teams,  not the second tierers,    if we can compete here why not in the PL.

If you listen to some posters it seems they'd prefer us to throw the final games of the season to make sure we don't get promoted.

It's good to see the team win but like Tettey said, we're playing Bournemouth and Ipswich, not Chelsea. I'd rather have millions of people watching us around the world and not win most games. Norwich fans are too impatient in the Premier League. It's not just Hughton, Lambert commented on the people who just turn up to grumble. Remember when there was booing at full time when we drew 0-0 to WIgan at Carrow Road in our first season back? Madness.

I am very much enjoying the Champs but would have to ask myself if this would still be the case if we didn't have the equivalent of a low level premier league squad. We are good in the Champs this year but if we don't go straight back up, next year will be anxiety filled stuff again and we can almost guarantee further quality player losses.

I like the novelty of having every game be an unknown outcome, but want to be playing football like this against the other mid / lower level Premier teams week in, week out. I want to have the excitement of rubbing the big boys noses in it occasionally.

I do not miss the coverage though. Terrible and always so negative towards us. We never outplayed other teams, they were poor when facing us if you listen to the tv pundits, and so on. The football league show is always on so late that I rarely bother, but when I do, the coverage is much more balanced as there are not the obvious top 5 or 6 that they all want to brown-nose.

Loving it for now. Want to be back in the Prem next season.

Enjoying it for now but I want to get back to the Premier League ASAP with a manager who wants to win and is not afraid to lose. Nice to have more games to go to although a lot more travel required which is tough being based in Devon.  Lets enjoy it while it lasts but hope it doesn't last long!

I'm enjoying the way City are playing atm but hate this league with a passion.

The media coverage is virtually non existent, the money gap is vast and the TV coverage is poor.

The whole City set up screams Premier League and we must get back there poste haste.

Wholeheartedly  agree, atmosphere appears better too, but I guess the way we played over the past 2 seasons accounted for that.

It's nice that now we go into every game knowing we can win it. There are a few teams in the Prem that when they're in a good run of form you just accept that you're going to lose before the game's even started. It's a good feeling now to be one of the big boys, and a team expected to do well. That said though, with that comes pressure, and no doubt there will be a period in the season where perhaps we're not quite putting in the performances, and dropping the odd point here and there when we should be picking up more, it'll happen to every club throughout the season no matter how good you are. Perhaps then it won't be quite so enjoyable. But right now I'm very happy and very optimistic about this season. As people have said, the atmosphere seems to be slowly returning, and the football we're playing is much more entertaining compared to last season. So overall, yeah I'm in enjoying it.

The only thing that annoys me, is when we were in the Premier League, any away games that I couldn't get to I could easily watch online. Can't do that now though, which is a shame.
