After the Lord Mayor´s Show
A banana skin looms round the corner,
Going from a high to a low
I hope A. Neil won´t be a mourner
It wouldn´t be the first time this year
That a good run is suddenly halted,
By an opponent we ought not to fear
Or one that is less than exalted
We know this league has no weak teams
Only some who´re just not quite as strong,
As others, but they all have their dreams
And Burton will want to prolong...
...their life in ths league number two
For more than just one single season,
And surely what ever we do
We mustn´t give them any reason...
...to believe that they can do just that
And goodness knows, three points are needed,
Away where we often fall flat
As lessons learned aren´t always heeded
We thought against Wigan, we´d do
One more who´re fighting for their lives,
But had to settle for two-two
After battling like frenzied fishwives
So this won´t be an easy day
Especially after our midweeker,
Burton didn´t have one to play
Which might leave them keener and sleeker. OTBC
