Would you sell a Murphy?

Twin prodigies such as Rafael and Fabio and the Olssons (the footballing version) appeal because of the idea of having two versions of the same talent, particularly if they are mirror twins and their sides/skills are complementary. But how much of the appeal of the Murphys is the idea of having the two of them on opposite sides wreaking havoc as a duo? For me part of their appeal is the idea of them as a package, our club having something special.

Josh is ahead of Jacob at present, though Jacob seemed to get the headlines at youth level (think he scored more goals as was often further up front). For me the hope is that Jacob also continues his developement, and that you really wouldnt consider one twin to be inferior to the other. But, if Josh becomes to Jacob, what Martin is to Markus and what Rafael is to Fabio - would you easily sell Jacob, or would you keep them together, in the hope they are 'better together'?

We have heard talk of their often described 'telepathic link'. Would you give up on this easily if either twin started to struggle? or would you keep them together and keep the faith, whatever happened, acknowledging that they are a special pairing, and together greater than the sum of their parts?

Me personally, I love the idea of these two becoming famous in Norwich colours and being the talk of the nation. They do seem to have a special understanding, and I wouldnt casually throw that away

I remember their 'telepathy' well from the youth games, and it was evident again in the Crawley cup match. I would keep the faith. After all, 'we have no need to sell'.

I think both of them, particularly Josh, have a lot of potential. I don't know about the idea that they have a certain telepathy because they're twins, although admittedly I've only seen them play together once. We should treat them as individual players though. If in a few years we get a great offer for one of them then I'd be annoyed if we rejected it on the basis of that 'they're better together'.
