This is just taking the proverbial. Having been moved to late on a Saturday I had made plans to stay overnight on the Saturday to get back home on the Sunday. Now it is a Friday night and basically I have to take a day off work to get to a weekend game. This sort of thing really messes with anyone who has to travel long distances to get to the game - including Bolton supporters. I know we get lots of TV money blah blah but this just takes the fans totally for granted. Really unhappy but I'll be there because that's what I do and it is mugs like me who get taken advantage of.

Now not sure if I'll be able to make this one. Gutted. Starting to wish I lived much closer to Norwich. I've managed to get to 29 years old not needing a driving licence, but this may be the reason I finally have to get one. 12 hour round trips on train/coach is just not that fun by myself.

I had not picked up on the change to Friday. Was just about to book a hotel for the Saturday when something made me double check - so disaster avoided.

But I could easily have booked a hotel for the Saturday when change to 5:15 was first announced. There really is little consideration for supporters when these short notice changes are made, but I guess thatsthe way it is now! TV money reigns supreme.

That's a bummer Paul, most of the time I'm unaffected by these changes, live fairly near so no real problem but I do sympathise with people like you who make travel arrangements in advance, presumably to keep the travel costs down. Not sure if two time and day changes for one game has happened before but it is taking the *bleep* for people like yourself.
