Having read this article it stinks of somebody who doesnt know the first thing about the club. Usual sneering that we so much love to shove down the throats of the knockers!

We will finish above both Watford and Bournemouth this season. The comment that it was significant we didnt finish in the top two shows just how ignorant the writer is about the nature of the division last season. We were the big fish in that division which I think meant a lot of our games were cup-finals for some teams. We also didnt have momentum to build upon. Any one of 8 teams could have realistically won that division with little between them.

Do we care what pundits think? Of course not, but personally I think we'll be outside the relegation places at xmas.

This article just sounds to me like generic dismissal of the team that came up via the play-offs with very little informed comment

I remember exactly the same sort of comments last time we were promoted and we probably only notice it because the comments are about City - frankly, every year the pundits find it easy to predict the newly relegated teams are favourites for the drop.

I do find irritating the limp-wristed sort of comments like "Norwich have arguably the weakest squad in the Premier League"... well "arguably" you can make that case for quite a few teams and QPR have proved repeatedly that signing names who look good on paper is no guarantee of success.

For me, our squad right now is significantly stronger than it was at the start of our last Prem campaign, most importantly because we have a couple of strikers who can play effectively up front on their own (Jerome and Grabban) which we were lacking last time, and a manager who knows how to get the best from the squad. 

This sort of article is par for the course, I'd just ignore it.

You have to remember, bookies are in it for a profit. Saying we are going to go down means people will bet on other teams, just as the bookies want.
