We are short on the ground on leaders. Can't really think there is anyone who I think would rouse a sleepy dressing room with a St Crispins Day speech.

Despite the poor error last time out, Ruddy seems the obvious choice to me. Armband might give him his confidence back too.

Give it to Mulumbu. I'm a fan of combative centre mids being given the armband, our Keane or Vieira.

Its a figurehead role only - players should show leadership whether they have an armband or not.    I have opted for mulumbu but as for who actually shows it on the pitch the only one of those options that is vocal and gees colleagues up each game is tettey and he will continue to do that irregardless.

Howson has experience as captain from his time at Leeds so would be a reasonable choice, has my vote.

Edit :- I just googled, and our vice captain was Bradley Johnson!!

I'd be surprised if it was anyone other than Howson

Don't get me wrong, I'd be as happy as anyone with Howson, I just think that with Wes being our senior player it makes him more likely.
