It seems we asked for him to return. I wonder what was behind this.

Is it merely that he was not getting many games on loan, and that we want to see some development.?

Or is it that we have a bigger striker problem than we thought? I have my doubts about this one, because not only are there four strikers, I would imagine that Loza ranks before Morris. Laferty is regularly injured it seems, so perhaps he needs some treatment, and there will be a lay-off.

What we can say is that Adams values Morris, and knows him from the days when he managed the lad.

It was been mentioned elsewhere (although not confirmed) that Oxford have six loan players. As you can only have five in your match day squad (again, reported but not checked out me) Morris was usually missing out. He's just not getting the game time expected when he first joined on loan.

yup, he just wasn't getting game time, and was often not on the bench.

Would be better off in our U21 side, playing regularly, than training with a League Two side and then not playing competitively

Oxford had 6 loan players and could only use 5 of them in any match squad, partially explains any lack of football I suppose, especially if they don't want to waste one of those spots on a substitute.

We should find another club for him to go too  - competitive games are invaluable.     

No one else concerned that he was not able to force himself into a league two starting line up - that seems at odds to the potential we think he has?
