Chances of getting ticket on General Sale

I think the one thing that the club got wrong was taking £20 from people who wanted to buy themselves into the queue.

Impossible to know whether that is a significant number or a relatively small number, but the argument that some exiles have that there should have been a ballot or window for those who accrued a lot of points for away games etc is probably a fair one, even if it were just a few hundred tickets.

Me neither, although I have seen some Norwich based people on my facebook showing off tickets who I've never once seen mention being a Norwich fan before. Some even actively support one of the big four/five clubs and have jumped on the bandwagon for this game.

Not that I can be too preachy about entitlement, I've been to just 3 games this season (all away games) and then handed my money to the blackmarket so the club haven't had much money at all from me this year, I'd be pretty low on the list of those who deserve one. 

If anything I am seeing people who have too many tickets, and are trying to sell them!

Saw a few people in EDP comments saying that they weren't going because of the train strike. Could of just be a convenient excuse of course.

I'm a bit gutted that I've signed up for 4 hours on a megabus now that the strike has been called off, the trains to London from here are superb (straight through if you catch the right one). 

Can't justify buying a train ticket now that I've paid for that, especially as it would impact directly on the beer budget.

Just saw that for the FA Cup final clubs are only allocated 25,000 tickets each! That would barely cover our season ticket holders. And nearly half the stadium as neutrals would seriously affect the atmosphere too. By comparison the play off finals are much more the "fans final". Should we ever reach the FA Cup final I can't see it being nearly as good day out as last Monday.

how do clubs allocate tickets where they have more than 25k season ticket holders and demand outstripping demand?   the outcry in norfolk would rumble on for months!

I played golf against an Arsenal supporter who had held a season ticket for 30 years a couple of weeks back. He went into a ballot along with all other season ticket holders. Fortunately for him he was successful.

But I guess its down to individual clubs how they seek to allot there allocation. And as fair as you try to make it those not receiving a ticket will feel aggrieved.
