Well, we're still six points from 2nd whatever Boro do tomorrow.

Its really in our own hands now. All of our home games are now so key. Win all of those and automatic really is still on!

Exciting end to the season this!!

Shouldn't need to look down now hopefully, especially with Brentford imploding!

6 points now off the automatic places with 45 points still to play for. If we can keep up our current form all the way to the end of the season then we will finish in the top 2. That said I think we will miss out to Middlesbrough and Derby.

If we can get a decent amount of points though from our next 3 games at Watford, Blackburn and Ipswich, then our games after that:

Wigan (23rd) H

Millwall (22nd) A

Derby (3rd) H

Huddersfield (14th) A

Forest (10th) H

Brighton (21st) A

Sheffield Wed (11th) H

Bolton (16th) A

Leeds (13th) A

Middlesbrough (1st) H

Rotherham (20th) A

Fulham (19th) H

The 4 teams we have left to play in the top half of the table we all have to play at home, and all the rest of the teams are in the bottom half. If we can keep this form going then there is no reason what-so-ever we can't get in the auto's.

As I said, I do think that Boro and Derby will be the top 2, but I am certainly willing to be proved wrong.

Looking at that graphic Din, we must have an excellent shot at autos. With Boro having four matches, I believe, away to teams in the top six, I would say that that run in must favour us over most, if not all, of our rivals.

We have, at best, an outside shot at automatic promotion - purely because other teams have more points than us and our next three games are tricky to say the least.  Let's not underestimate the achievement of Alex Neil & the management team should that outcome be achieved.  It would be up there with anything Lambert achieved.
