His last tweet is Nov 11. Maybe he just posted for a wind-up. It's really worth nothing. No idea if the allegations are true but the person making them is @harto76 - he claims to have witnessed the incident.

Sometimes people will see what they want to see, and perhaps spin it to suit an agenda.Mcnally does often go drinking up PoW after a game yes. I believe there's a few on here that were bought a drink by him in The Nelson for example.
And yes, definitely a pinch of salt required but I see no reason why this person would make it up.
Agree.I have a lot of respect for David McNally, the few times I have met him, and discussed things, he has answered my every question honestly and openly.
I think the people looking to have his head on a stick, as a scapegoat, need to calm down a bit.
He doesn't make unilateral decisions at the club, with respect to managerial appointments.
So he should hide in his house, because we lost a game of football? However now having read the thread on the other forum it does look as though he might have shown a lack of judgment in putting himself in that situation.

But it is too simplistic to simply say because we lost a game of football. Emotions were clearly running high yesterday after the game, hence this thread. Emotions that were not going to get any less with the addition of copious amounts of alcohol. So he should hide in his house, because we lost a game of football?
Sorry, but some drunken yob has had a go at him, saying basically its his own fault for being there, doesn't sit well with me.But it is too simplistic to simply say because we lost a game of football. He seems to like to think of himself as a man on the people, nothing wrong with that. But he is also a public figure certainly in Norwich. So he will attract attention. A bit of judgment might have made him think he would have got the wrong type of attention last night. He will probably think similarly now.
To be clear I am not calling for his head. Just regretting that we have this piled on top of our other problems.
Now you know that's what I mean. No it's not his fault that some drunk has a go at him.Sorry, but some drunken yob has had a go at him, saying basically its his own fault for being there, doesn't sit well with me.
He's hardly glitterati material though, is he? He is out after most games. Why shouldn't he be able to go out without drunken yobs giving him grief? Now you know that's what I mean. No it's not his fault that some drunk has a go at him.
But he is a public figure and higher standards apply. So being in a situation like will reflect badly even when your the innocent party. Better to judge the situation and avoid in the first place.
Now that is a question to ask drunken yobs. Problem is drunken yobs do give grief. He's hardly glitterati material though, is he? He is out after most games. Why shouldn't he be able to go out without drunken yobs giving him grief?
Did he really vote against Adam's appointment? I didnt know that.Going into Norwich after what happened might seem foolish but let's add some facts to the mix. Firstly, it was one of his sons' stag do so he could hardly pull out.Secondly, he voted against Adams so probably feels pretty raw that he's copping most of the flak for an appointment on which he was outvoted. Doesn't make his involvement right, but until ALL the facts are known it's probably best not to leap to judgement.
Adam's appointment has Smith and Jones all over it in my opinion. I could see McNally walking away from the club over this. Why take grief over their balls up.Going into Norwich after what happened might seem foolish but let's add some facts to the mix.
