Really surprised at this one - werent we rumoured to have paid £6m for Lafferty? Dont see why all the strikers are being flushed out, unless AN really does plan on one up front all season. Gutted that Olsson seems to be on his way. If its essentially a swap between him and Dorrans Id rather keep Olsson. He is worth more than £4m IMO.

That is a good deal, I'm just a bit frustrated we haven't managed to get a left back in to replace him. Garrido is a decent option for this level, but I am a bit worried because he hasn't played in the league for so long, and if he does get injured then we don't really have any suitable back-up. Although it was mentioned earlier that we will bring someone in when the loan window opens.

I just think Olsson is an outstanding left-back. Not been as good this season admittedly, but what with recent family events thats perhaps understandable - he remains a great left-back. With him clearly wanting to play Premier League football and little chance of getting it with us next season its perhaps not surprising he's keen to go. If we're valuing the transfer at £6m, I can just about accept this. I felt Garrido was wasted on the bench so at least some good will come of it
