If they want 5m and we've bid 2m, 3.5m is the obvious settling point. Is he worth that?  Can we not jsut have Pilks back?

Jesse Lingard is apparently set to leave Manchester United on loan, I can see him coming here as he's someone who's quick, good with ball, and could potentially play on the wing.

I just think Olsson is an outstanding left-back. Not been as good this season admittedly, but what with recent family events thats perhaps understandable - he remains a great left-back. With him clearly wanting to play Premier League football and little chance of getting it with us next season its perhaps not surprising he's keen to go. If we're valuing the transfer at £6m, I can just about accept this. I felt Garrido was wasted on the bench so at least some good will come of it

He should be an average Prem LB but this season, as you've mentioned, he's barely been an average Champ LB. I honestly don't think we'll miss him, unless he's replaced by Whitt. Garrido should be perfectly good enough at this point and young Toffolo has been getting rave reviews.

Although a little disappointed to see Olsson (probably) leaving, I'm really excited to see if this offers an opportunity for Toffolo to push Garrido for the starting spot. Seen him play a couple of times at Swindon, he's got a lot of potential.

Fee wasn't agreed apparently, just Sky not reporting it right. We had a £2m bid rejected and couldn't agree with them on a fee so pulled out.

Well to put that in perspective.... we paid £1m for Connor McGrandles, an 18 year old from the second tier in Scotland. At least Alex Neil would be signing Andreu to play football now, even if it is a bit of a gamble.

This would be a good deal if true We probably need an attacking midfielder and Olsson hasn't looked up for it this season.

I wouldnt discount the Noone deal just yet, if Cardiff are desperate to cut their wage bill wouldn't be surprised if we return for him on Loan with a view to a permanent move.

The Olsson one is interesting in the sense of where it leaves us.  Can only assume we have someone lined up on loan or we are going to recall Toffolo.

Lafferty has joined Caykur Rizespor on loan.

Best bit of news for me so far. Not because I don't like Lafferty, but because I've always considered him a silly signing for the left wing. I'd still be interested in seeing what he could offer through the middle if we lose Hooper or Jerome in the summer but Alex Neil identifying that he is currently a weak link has just made him go up in my estimations.
