Disabled parking

Hi All.

Stevenage fan here. Looking forward to coming to Carrow Road next week. Another ground off the tick list.

I am bringing my dad who is disabled and was wandering where is best to park or if there is any disabled parking close to the ground.

According to the club website there is blue badge parking around the ground but couldn't tell you where it is.

Perhaps best to ring the club?

I am pretty sure that there is disabled parking in the club car park, right outside the ground. See this link :-

If theres anything you're not sure about the customer services number is 0844 8261902, they are normally pretty helpful and should sort you out.

You'd think with the likely low attendance that they'd be lots of spare spaces in that car park though for a midweek cup game? But yeah, should just ring the club.... they'll probably reserve him something?

There’s a piece of road pretty much outside the away end and hotel at the end of Kerrison road. It does get filled up early though and cars are there easily more than three hours. As others have said, give the club a call

My dad's "second team" has been Norwich for at least 50 years so to his Beloved Stevenage come up against you guys made his day. He will however be wearing red and white 100% on Tuesday
My 8 year old son has not been to an away game yet so he'll be there to. He's currently playing as Stevenage against Norwich on fifa and it's not going well for us

I would definitely give the club a call, they are nice folk, and am pretty sure you would be able to park in the club carpark, at the ground.

Good first away game for your son, we usually get around 15k for these games which is high for this cup in its early stages.

also there is the multi-story car park opposite the train station, im 99% sure it has disabled parking, which is less than a five minute walk from the ground

That's probably quite a long walk for anybody who qualifies for a blue badge, although the website does also mention the Holiday Inn as a drop off point.... so the OP could drop his dad and son off who can wait and have a cuppa in the hotel lobby, park up, then walk 5 minutes to the hotel to meet them.

(Hotel is in one of the corners of the ground OP).

But that would be less easy after the game when he'd then have to leave his dad in the hotel lobby again to get his car then wait for Carrow Road to clear to pick him up again!

Suspect the club car park is the most sensible option, can't imagine it will be full for a midweek league cup game.... ringing the club about reserving a space seems like the most hassle free / logical idea.

If he sat in a wheelchair then parking close becomes less of an issue and 'carers' used to get in free.
It was the best way to take my old dad.

Just wanted to add, don’t park on Morrison’s over the road, the whole retail park there has got cameras on it
