When I left school and got my first wages I bought a pair of these for £15. I've just seen them advertised for £90 !!!! How times have changed

Conversely, I find it strange how several brands which were super cool in the 1980's/1990's are now sold as cheap tat in Sports Direct. Mike Ashley buys the brands out of administration and then sticks the logos on polo shirts.

Adjusting for inflation £15 in 1977 is equivalent to 97.50 today so it looks like those £90 DMs are a bargain. Buy them!
