Player to watch: James McArthur (Wigan)

Young gun: Will Hughes (Derby)

Surprised he doesn't even have us as finishing in the play-offs. Or even having someone like Redmond as the player to watch. Opinions?

I think they've got a chance. Bossed League 1 last year and in recent seasons any team to do that seems to on to have a good year in the Championship.

I agree with Wigan being tipped for Champions, but will be surprised if Bournemouth can stay in the mix until the end of the season, and don't think Watford will be there at the end either.

Bit of a reality check. This league is tough & teams like Wigan, Wolves & Derby will be there or there abouts. Can't see Cardiff or Bournemouth doing much. Not sure about Watford.

It would be brilliant to see leeds relegated though.

Under the radar is fine with me.......

However I think people are deluded if they think we're going to just walk this league. We have a decent squad with a rookie manager. No supprise were not fancied by some pundits.

Some of those selections are a bit on the strange side, but I guess he has tried not to go for the obvious which is fair enough. Wolves could be a dark horse, but presumably he has gone for them mainly as an ex player(?) - certainly in the last few seasons some of the sides coming up from L1 have fared pretty well, including us and Saints.

See if I can find Tony Cottee's predictions from the Telegraph on Thursday - embarrassing is an understatement.  He must tip at least 12 teams for "playoffs or better".

its just an opinion,  the more pundits write us off the better.

Take watford,  in deeney and vydra they have a potent strike force for this league.   if they play to their potential a play off place is possible,   but therest of the squad could mean they get relegated if they dont.

It is a tough competetive league.   Bring it on and let us show our worth and not worry about anyone else
