Think the fixtures have been pretty kind to us. We could easily have 3/4 wins in our first 5 games. Getting points on the board early will be so important.  And we haven't really got any really bad run of games, other than the last 3, so hopefully we can be relatively consistent over the season. Bring it on

^ I agree, has definitely made our season look brighter, although obviously we will be fighting for our lives, but getting points on the board is so important in the premier league

A glamour tie would have been nice but the first five games give us a real chance for a good start to the season to build confidence:

Yeah, winnable games at both ends of the fixture list, pleased with that. Only 3 games at present which arent Saturday games though - assume this will change when the TV companies get a chance to sit down with the list?

The trouble is that after Wembley expectations will be high that we'll give Crystal Palace a pasting but it's not going to be that easy. The Carrow Road grumblers will make their feelings known if we don't get a goal in the first 30 minutes but what's needed is patience to break down a team like Palace.

The Carrow Road grumblers will make their feelings known if we don't get a goal in the first 30 minutes but what's needed is patience to break down a team like Palace.

Palace were far better away from home under Pardew - a tough test to start from a side that was nearer top 6 formwise for the second half the season than merely top 10

Completely agree. I think some fans are seeing its 'just Palace' and think all we need to do is turn up and we'll win. This is a team thats being linked with the likes of Loic Remy and Yohan Cabaye.  They're a completely different side under Pardew, and if we win it would be a huge result
