From the Leeds game...

Anyone know why the Community stand got emptied just before half time, just to be refilled about 5 minutes later? Was very strange.

Also, over the tannoy at half time "Mr. Carrow is in the away bar" then into the second half "Mr. Carrow has left the building" - What was that all about? Was completely lost on me!

All I could find on Mr. Carrow was the below so maybe my 2 questions are linked?

That Mr Carrow thing used to be frequent when I was a season ticket holder, several times a season. As I'm not a 'regular' anymore, would have no idea whether it is still frequent or not? 

I think they are just security drills, preparing for any real emergency which may occur. So just like a fire drill at work, this time they practiced an evacuation?

I've asked a few people this and nobody seems to know. I sit in the Jarrold was watching it happen. Right before the start of the second half they appeared to remove a lot of people, however not everyone, just the people sitting at the front of the stand, and then as you say everyone was bought back in 5 minutes later. Very strange.

"Mr Carrow is in the ... " is an emergency signal to all stewards to attend their posts. There was trouble in the away section under the stand, with several fans arrested.

I get the train back to London after matches and the Leeds fans that were on the train were definitely pretty merry that's for sure, so can see how a few got arrested at half time. Was in the Weatherspoons (Queen of Iceni) before the game and they were definitely going for it in there! Seemed an unusually large amount of them on the train back, guess there is a large London based Leeds following!

A Leeds supporting friend of mine was in the Leeds end on Tuesday and he told me there was trouble in the concourse and lots of police came in after the first announcement.

Apparently Leeds fans let off flares by the snack bars.
