Yes good possession and good passer to create space, but what's taking so long?
Medicals are invariably done on weekdays so suspect he's had his today. Will probably be announced tomorrow.

Hope this one comes off as expected, would be a great signing, experienced player, good footballer and recent history of winning and success at this level.

Confirmed signed and done deal. Personally I don't know much about the guy but from what I hear he should be a good signing for us.

O'Neil: "They have fantastic support and everyone I’ve spoken to has said what a great club it is."

Neil Adams: "Gary has featured in the Premier League and Championship all his career. He’s precisely the sort of player needed."

At last! This seems to have dragged on, but very pleased it's a done deal now.

Just had a chat with a mate of mine who played for QPR with O'Neill last season.

He said that although he looks unremarkable on the ball, he does the simple stuff effectively. But he says that O'Neill really comes into his own when the opposition have the ball. He'll chase and hassle people, break play down and not give the opposition midfield a spare second. My mate says he's a good player to have in your team and will be a good addition to our squad.

I think he could be a tremendous addition. This is a division that's won by doing the dirty work, not by creaming the ball around. We totally lacked bite in midfield at Wolves and we desperately need it on Saturday.

Yep, happy enough with this. I know they are play in different positions but to see pilks(you never know what you're gonna get) leave and O'Neill ( seasoned pro, tough midfielder) come in, makes me feel the unbalances in the squad are being addressed.

Next a reliable centre half and right fullback  please.

Good news if those attributes materialize in his play (and I hope they do).
