At all relevant? Wonder if players are bothered missing a game like this?

Good to see us being ruthless. Would be good to know where people played if anyone knows? Looks like BJ had a stint at left back for the first half team, looks like a central striker with an attacking triumvirate of Andreu, Hoolahan and Murphy for the second half team

Read an interview with Alex Neil, VOO had a tight thight, Howson was under the weather, and Grabban's fitness is being monitored (I assume he's had a knock), Redmond also tweeted that he wasn't playing because he only got back in training on Monday, I imagine the same for RVW and Lafferty

The Cambridge game 4 x 30 minute segments for some reason should be a better judge as to who is part of the plans as surely there's time for everyone to get a run out

Neil also explained that Jonny Howson, Vadis Odjidja and Lewis Grabban all missed the trip to the Top Field Stadium as a precaution.

"Vadis just felt something with a tight thigh and with his injury history last year we didn`t want to take any risks in case he breaks down because that would be a catastrophe for him," said Neil. "Jonny Howson just wasn`t feeling very well and Lewis Grabban we just need to monitor his load at times. That was the only reason he wasn`t involved.

"You can find players work really hard for three or four weeks and then pick up an injury and all that work goes to waste. We just want to make sure that doesn`t happen."

Good to see us going all out, is what we need. Surprised plesantly with Andreu's hat trick, didnt see that one coming (I know it's only against Hitchin but good nonetheless) Great to see us going into the tour with confidence and Jerome scoring absolute hat-fuls. It will be interesting to see if RvW features in any of the pre-season games!

Id wondered that about RvW, but he did last season despite clear plans to ship him out so I wouldnt be surprised if he did

I'd be amazed if he features to be honest. It's very obvious that the club don't want him here, and I don't know why Alex Neil would want to play him if he knows full well he's not going to be here for this season.
