How are you feeling?

Feeling encouraged and extremely positive.   Every player we have looks well up for the task this season.  The new boys look good - Grabban's got three goals already and Lafferty looks the business - and a crowd pleaser too.  Redmond can only improve imo and gets a warm reception from the crowd.   Cuellar and Jerome look quality signings to add to the mix.  Wes/johnson/Tettey have been excellent in the last two games and the defence have held strong.  Murphy looked really good and effective when he came on against Blackburn.  Just got to keep positive and focused and we will be there or thereabouts by the end of the season imo.   Pleased to have been at the last two games and seen six goals (and a corker of a goal from Blackburn) and long may it continue that we show good form.

OK I am feeling quite positive but balancing that with it still being early days.

Yes Lewis has got 3 goals, but he needed two bites at the cherry for both of them on Tuesday and that could all have gone pear shaped. Lafferty's directness will be a crowd pleaser but for a big guy he does not look a target man, which we need but hopefully Jerome will provide that option.

Redmond we all seem to be behind but his awareness of what options are available still needs to be developed. Josh looked to be ahead of him when he came on in this respect.

Two swallows do not make a summer and two wins do not make a promotion campaign. But a couple of good results in the next two games and getting through the transfer window with a feeling that overall it has been positive for us and I think we can start getting excited.

Agree with Lafferty, but so far he's looked far better than i ever give him credit for.

And take your point with Grabban, but when you watch the goals back he's so calm and collected in front of goal and that's why he was able to put the ball home at the second asking because he didn't panic and lash at it.  That's what good players do, and they always make it look lucky, the guy is cool as a cucumber from what i've seen so far.

I always thought Huckerby was very similar in that regard, he would run quite clumsily at times and end up in the penalty area with the ball still at his feet.  But he done it time and time again, players that know how to play the law of averages always seem to come out on top.

Feeling positive and looking forward to the season. What has really pleased me is that we seem to have found a system which the players are comforable with and they are all looking confident in the system and as indeviduals. You really notice the difference in quality of the opposition in this league, wasted chances that would have been buried in the Prem. I was hopefull that at this lower level we would have a team that could do really well, I think that will be the way it works out.

Elated with the win at PR and feeling quietly optimistic but tempering it with the recognition that there are 42 games still to go.  A win against Bournemouth would really start to build some momentum though.

Technically, I am the gnome and he ("Bor Bor Bor", as I believe he calls himself) is the owner.  He's rather more rude and unpleasant than I am however, on account of being an old man with prostate problems.  Whereas I am made from plaster of paris and wise from years of observation.
