Ipswich dilemma.

Essentially, if Ipswich can win or draw against Forest tomorrow then we remain top of the table on goal difference. Any thoughts?

For me, promotion is more important. Forest are contenders; Ipswich are not. A draw or Ipswich win would suit me.

Promotion will always be more important than Ipswich picking up points.   I'd saw a draw is a nice middle ground between the two,  but I'd much rather Forrest won 6-0 than Ipswich getting within 1 point of us

Not even up for debate- I would not support Ipswich-  Meaningless- whether we are top or second at this stage of season. If Ipswich won- they would be even closer than they are now and those points might make difference -whether we go up or them.  We do it on our own- thanks .

I don't really expect much from other team's matches, but let's just say I wouldn't be unhappy if Forest win 4-0, in the process causing three injuries to "key" Ipswich players - resulting in stretchers and help from the St. John's Ambulance (who don't try overly hard, remembering the debts the Binners had written off the last time) - and the Football League subsequently notice "betting pattern irregularities" that leads to a massive fine and points deduction for the Scummers, all of which tips them into administration.

Is that too much to ask for?

Ideally Ipswich would put a few tasty tackles on Forest's key players which lead to unfortunate injuries that will see them sitting on the side lines for a couple of months. In the process the Binners will pick up two red cards seeing them fall to defeats in the next three games. This game finishes in bad tempered fashion, both clubs are charged with failing to control their players and the 0-0 result helps neither side (I would have said failing to control their fans but I can't imagine the Binners will have enough people there to get out of hand).

I treat this the same as a game between any two sides near the top of the league. A draw is a point wasted and in the long run suits us best.

It really doesn't matter whether we're first it second going into the international break, it's only October.

Plus, given that they're getting "a bit chippy" because they beat Rotherham and we didn't, a big Forest win please.

Yeah didn't notice a draw leaves us top. Happy with that. Basically they're teo teams at the top end and both have dropped points, always I'd prefer to see the scum lose in general but better to get a point and leave us top every time.

As I posted earlier, I think this is the best result for us, but wow didn't Forest leave it late. Looks like Lansbury, did us a favour with assists (as did Holt earler this week). Ex Norwich players still having an influence!

A draw would be a good result, doing little for Forest or Ipswich. The other two possible results are som eway short in my opinion.
