It wouldn't surprise me if Tettey is allowed to leave in January for a small fee if we get Morsy and recall Godfrey, Scandinavian clubs start their pre-season in late January I think so may be willing to pay a little to get the player early? 

Just really hope we keep hold of Maddison, Pritchard and Pinto. 

Of our saleable assets, those are the 3 I'd be gutted to lose. 

Could handle losing Oliviiera at the right price as long as a decent amount is invested in a replacement, we've got enough bodies to cope with Klose leaving, and I'm not a huge fan of Murphy in all honesty. 

That just about covers the players with market value I think. A contract for Trybull would be a bonus, he can actually sign a pre-contract with a foreign team in 48 days  :wacko:

The good news is he’s on a four year contract. Thing is, he hasn’t really ever played for us, would he want to go to a prem club and feel he’s got just as much chance as playing for them ? I would like us to keep him here in the new year and give him some games to make him feel he’s part of the first team squad

Anyone currently signed on at Norwich would be mad to turn down a Prem club if they came in.

But I doubt anyone will be pushing too hard to get Godfrey away from us at the moment. Clubs watch players all the time, I suspect this is agent talk to improve his position at Norwich.

We've signed a couple of youngsters through an agency we've worked with before that'll be announced in January, so i'm told. No idea who they are mind.

People have knocked our recruitment and scouting and rightly so, but when it comes to signing young players we’ve done quite well the last couple of years

Yeah we have got a few real gems, Maddison, Louis Thompson, Ben Godfrey and I think theres a couple in the U23's that we bought in, that lad Phillips we got from Liverpool is getting rave reviews.

Thats one part of recruitment we have got very right, and will reap us rewards. And thats the key to our financial survival in seasons to come. We can gain a reputation as a club that develops youth the right way, and will give them a shot in the team when the time is right.

You would think that given they spent a fair chunk of the little money we have that he was identified as being real quality and perhaps shouldn't be written off just yet. But if he's not going to play then get back whatever money we can for him either in a sale or a loan.

The trouble is that its not just quality you need to be a Championship centre back, as shown by Klose last year. Sometimes you need a bit of blood and thunder, and be willing to stick your head in where you really don't want to.

Exactly. That is why Zimmermann has done better. He's not afraid to get his hands dirty.
