It doesn't matter, he is out of contract in the summer, not our problem. We have had the best of him.

My point was really... you never know. Circumstances change. He might be a Norwich player beyond this season.

Nope. Webbers biggest remit is to get the highest earners off the books. Tettey, Naismith, Hoolahan, Jerome, Oliviera, Martin. We're probably stuck with Jarvis.

Every player has a price, wouldn't be the worst thing to see Klose go, but we have no viable cover whatsoever at right back if Pinto goes. Webber will have a plan, and I would hope Pinto is part of it.

The shame of it is what we would be using the money for if it happens. If we had £20m to spend on new players it wouldn’t seem so bad but as you say some being used to pay off players and the rest to make up the losses from parachute payments it doesn’t seem quite such a good deal. If it does happen then it would be vital that we kept hold of Pritchard.

It will be disappointing to see him leave as everyone here loves him, but he just doesn't fit in with what Webber's trying to do so it wouldn't make any sense to give him a new deal. We got rid of 7 players last summer who were out of contract, players who were in identical situations to the one Tettey will be in this summer, so I just can't see him staying. Particularly when we have Godfrey coming through.

I imagine it'll be the same, unfortunately, for Hoolahan.

As for the others, I'd probably take £20m for Maddison. It would go a long way to help us do what we're trying to do. As said though it is a shame that most of that will probably go towards paying certain players off and making sure we're sustainable after the parachute payments. Plus as good as the fee is, it will be disappointing to lose Maddison. Probably the most talented young player we've had in the time I've been going, and he seems to be a real team player as well. He's destined for bigger things than us though, so couldn't blame him one bit if he were to leave this window.

Trybull needs to be given a new contract immediately. Don't really understand why Zimmermann has been given one and Trybull hasn't. At the moment we stand to lose him for free, and I can't see us finding someone as good as him on a free transfer to replace him. We'll have Louis Thompson come back from injury to be fair but considering how much time he's spent on the physio's table (don't think that's the right saying but can't think of what it actually is ) there's no guarantee he'll be good enough, or even that he won't get injured for 6 months again. 

As much as I love Jerome for what he's done for the club, I think his time here has run his course. He just doesn't fit in with our style at all, and seems to have regressed since last season. He's probably on decent wages, so if Cardiff come in with an alright offer I'd be taking it. Provided we can replace him with the money we get. 

As for the two wingers we've been linked with, particularly the one pictured with Farke, I wonder whether we'd be looking at them as a replacement for Maddison. We have Pritchard and Wes who play in a central attacking midfield positions. Vrancic can also play there, as can Naismith if he doesn't leave this window (which hopefully he does), so maybe bringing in a winger to replace Maddison makes more sense, as we only have Josh, Wildschut and Watkins who can play there, and out of those Murphy has been in poor form, Farke doesn't seem to like Yanic and Watkins is a bit sh*t.

Gonna be an interesting window that's for sure
