Hè was very well known in Holland
Even played for FC Den Haag (ADO), Go Ahead Eagles, NAC, FC Utrecht.

That said, I'd only want that if we could get someone in. On loan would seem the most likely option so late in the window. We were linked with Ashley Fletcher not long ago. Seemingly a better chance of first team football, working with a coach he knows and back home to Scotland. Makes sense for him. If the club saw him getting in the team in the next couple years (or ever) they might not have let it happen but they've done the decent thing.

By the sounds of the interview, Middleton was striving for first team football that we couldn't give him at the moment, I thought a loan would be the best course of action! but then again, I'm not in the football business so what do I know!!

Bit frustrating that one as he was always highly rated, and has been playing for the u23's since he was 16, but you can't blame the lad for going, the chance to go back to Scotland, sign for one of the giant clubs up there and have a realistic chance at first team football under a coach he knows, how could we say no to him, glad we got a sell on fee as I think he'll make a name for himself in the next year or two, good luck to him
