Went to see her at the Hawth, Crawley last night.
Now I have got to say I am not a big fan, or a fan at all. Basically went along because my wife is and it is a sort of quid pro quo for going to see Kasabian next week.
That said I surprised myself and really enjoyed it. Possibly because a lot of old favourites were generously thrown in - which I was familiar with as I have been dragged along to concerts before! Really good section of talking to the audience about her career, achievements, who she has met (e.g. Mandela) with photos as background. Sounds tacky but was actually very interesting.
It is advertised as her last major tour and is going to a large number of small venues around the country. So a must for all Joan fans and maybe some who are not!
