Twitter pitchforks are out for Ruddy as he tweeted an inappropriate "joke" about Alton Towers.

He reckons he's been hacked again.

Kinda somewhere in the middle here. Who would hack JR, and why?

Maybe its the cynic in me, seen it so many times on forums etc as a cop out.

But really I don't think Ruddy is the type to be that daft.

I cannot imagine he would be so bloody stupid,   I want to believe him becuase he plays for my club ... but had it been joey barton then that's another story.

I do believe there are twats that just troll, waiting for a doorway of getting into a celeb's  account on some site.    beats me how they still continue using the site after this happens ...

People get a lot out of social media, and I don't think just because you are a public figure you should be excluded from it.

But this is the second time he has been hacked, he really needs to be picking better passwords, because it really isn't that easy just plucking someones password out of the sky. Unless, of course you're daft enough to use kids names, dates of birth etc...

You make a reasonable point actually. A mate of mine tweeted about the hypocrisy of it all, cause if it had been Frankie Boyle that had tweeted it, everyone would have been fine with it.

In the grand scheme it was in slightly poor taste, but not worth the level of outcry that some people reached!

I agree, they should not be excluded, but do need as you say more careful picking,  there have been other silly boys who said the wrong thing.  They are targets of that there is no doubt in my mind.. so more caution is needed. 

I ahd a couple of joked sent me bout that incident and thought better of re posting them.  mind they did make me smile ..

It makes you wonder that if certain people discovered the site sickapedia, they would literally self combust.

And I'm sure if it was one of our youngsters who was caught putting on accumulators down Labdrokes every saturday they'd be calling for them to be banned from football!

I'm very sceptical about it being a hack. I reckon he just tweeted it without realising some people had been seriously injured. Nothing more than an innocent mistake. There's no way a father of 3 young kids would joke about kids being taken to hospital.
